EF cleaning party!

Post by Edison Carasio »

My girlfreind just bought a 1990 Civic DX hatch a few days ago. Last night we washed our cars. The hatch was dusty from sitting, and my apartment complex had cut the grass and got a bunch of grass on my CRX.

Her's has a bunch of tiny scratches all over that i'm gonna buff out with some Meguiars (sp?) scratch remover this weekend. And the valve cover nuts look a little wet around em, so I don't think the guy torqued them down right when he did the head gasket, so I'll take care of that too.

GAW - $1500. Only thing it needs is the AC checked. I blows, just warm. SO a simple recharge I hope. And it has some ugly seat covers cuz the driver seat is dogged out.

Does any one know if CRX seats are a direct bolt in for a Civic hatch? I would imagine so, but I guess you never know.

Yeah, I had considered convincing her to buy yours, but she had already seen this one and driven it, so what can a guy do? I hope things work out and you get to keep yours. Then we can organize a EF cruise. lol

hey those ef's are nice man. Thats a helluva deal on that hatch, it looks to be rust free!
Lower it and put some oem alloys on it and it would look great, is the hatch an automatic?
Oh and the seats will most likely work I know that the crx hf seats are a little different, but any other trim seat should work.

Yeah, her hatch is an auto. Mine is too, but I plan on swapping to a five speed (or less likely, trading/selling for a five speed).
