i love this build... just read through it all.. im really happy you didnt part with it... because im sure after you get it all how you like it.. and runmning right(vtec working ect)... and all the little quirks taken care of.. you will absolutely love the car...

I really hope i can make it to the dyno day to see it in person.

cpl things:

fuxk fuction over form this car will NEVER see any type of real track usage no matter how much you tell yourself and other this. So based on this

-slam it like it used to be when you really liked the car
-spacers stat!!
-lip put something you can destroy on it and fuck the rare bullshit
-fix the missed aligned front end
-fix vtec
-drive the shit out of it and enjoy it like you should have been doing all summer

I agree with Chris for the most part. Except the function>form thing.

That front is begging for a splitter and some canards. Needs moar low. Rare lips are for show cars. I know I don't have room to talk cause my car is in my garage 360 days a year but get that shit back on the road.

Well, lip wise... I'm not currently wanting to spend $300+ for a real Chargespeed lip... so I'm going to ebay this s*** for once and just have fun. I want it looking good, and it'll get messed up i'm sure and i'm fine with that for a while. I'd rather have fun in a decent looking car than have "baller" or rare parts for a while. I have hardwood floors, paint, and a garage to rehab and other misc. crap to do on the house now as well before I buy crazy parts.

I'd love to put spacers on, but the tires are pretty close to sitting right at the fenders as well already. but a little more never hurt anyone. I need to get it legal and licensed and I gotta fix the front end as well. As for track use, Chris is right. I don't have time as it is to go to an out of state track and have fun... all I could currently do is bump cones here locally. Maybe I'll do that for a while... but i plan to finish this build on a budget and have fun though.

As for Chris... If you wouldn't mind looking over the VTEC wiring one day when you have 10 minutes to spare, i'd appreciate it.

I wouldn't waste your money on a real chargespeed lip though. Lips just get f**ked anyways, better to mess up some ebay lip than a real deal one.

I wouldn't slam it either, form function---whatever, slammed cars ride like shit and break stuff and ruin struts. I'm a big fan of functional ride height.

But it's good to hear your keeping it! Have fun with it, even if just means railing clover leafs... That always puts a smile on my face!

thanks for all the comments, concerns, support, suggestions, and etc. guys and ladies! It'll be fun and I'll admit... pulling it out of the garage yesterday and seeing the amount of dust and everything... as much as I don't enjoy working on cars like i used to, it sucked to see it in that state.

I'm making a pledge that i won't let it get the shape I let it get into anymore. it will get as much attention as I can give it liek the RL. time to have fun and enjoy all 3 projects for once!

That sounds like a solid plan man.... you are soo far invested in this... with time... money... more time... and prolly emotionally at this point lol....

Have fun with the project you started~ No doubt that you wont regret it when you get it how you like it.

Since I have been riding on track R's for so long , I was looking at buying those wheels. Glad I didn't, they are very similar wheels. Looks awesome on the hatch though.
