Now to start piling parts for a D16Z6 or B16 swap. This engine and trans feels like it has LOTS of life left in it, so I have a while. I'll just have to live with being slow(er).
why not start off with the auto to manual swap and then go to the dpfi to mpfi swap. once you get to that point i would then start worrying about finding the z6 to swap in.

really, if you ever wanna go fast, just keep the engine you have, do a manual swap, dpfi to mpfi swap, and then put a turbo on it.

Yeah, I'm getting ahead of myself. I see all these nice looking swift cars online and in mags and I'm like "gotta have one!!11!11 omgwtfbbqsauce".

First is trying to pick up some Si seats in good shape and fixing the rust and tingint the windows and stacking some paper.

Didn't the CL ad show the car having a D16Z6 in it?

Yeah, but it was bogus. Either someone else's car or photoshopped on. I didn't bothger finding out. Just made sure the car was straight.

I have read that the mpfi swap really makes a noticable difference.....I want to do it to the hatch but I have no clue when it comes to wiring so that scares me a bit

And I can't do the MPFI swap until I do the five speed swap, right? Because there is no MPFI automatic trans ECU?

I'm gonna be looking stuff for the swap this weekend. I'm ok with the auto for now. Just driving it to work and back.
