stolle's 91 CRX

Post by stolle »

been driving this, for the past couple weeks, had to replace the rotors, pads, shoes and tie rods. i took the exhaust off the hatchback i have and cut a section out, had make it shorter to fit the crx. passed inspection the first time :)

my goal for this car is to make it completely stock, as stock as i want anyway, even going to get a set of 13" dx wheels for it, i have 3 i need one more, strip them paint them the stock silver, make them look nice. im gonna keep it on the tein springs though. im almost there, i need to find a stock Si intake and put the evap canister back. which is weird cause i usually take off everything im wanting to put back on, just think it would be cool to have a stock crx since most people molest the hell out of them and run them into the ground.

thanks to...

my dad
mike (my friend at work)
rick
jake
zach

without any one of those people i wouldnt have this car, at least in the state that its in now. :)

Why 13's?!!! And just cause you wanna have it stock, doesn't mean you need the emissions crap. ;)

13" tires are cheap and whats supposed to be on it, i want it to look like it would have looked from the factory or use factory parts. the only reason i havent put the evap canister back is because i dont have the braided red hose that goes from the throttle body to the canister. lol

put the evap canister back in, soldered the plug for the purge cut solenoid back in (someone cut it off). put the map sensor bracket back on the fire wall, redid some vacuum lines and made a tube for the pcv system from the valve cover to the intake, used two short pieces of rubber hose and a piece of aluminum tube from the old a/c system.

still need a timing gear cover and clean up some rusty motor mounts, nuts and bolts.
