Those that have said the stock headlights dont glare too bad havent been in an oncoming car and seeing those headlights. They still glare.

For info on the clips as was said check css.net (I havent removed mine so cant comment).

For places to check for used projectors
cobaltuniverse.com
gmsportcompact.net
cobaltss.net

And honestly the nice thing about the projectors is you will only need a low beam only hid kit. As they have separate high beams. But in the stock housings you'll need a lo/hi hid kit.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

yeah im not gonna be getting the projectors, the guy screwed me over and sent a refund.
i'll probably just not worry about the hids either.

I removed the lower grill last night, was pretty easy, the upper grill was being a pain so i gave up.

gonna probably get a set of nice headlight bulbs, not the ebay ones i have that the brights burned up on one bulb.

The bottom grille was super easy to take out, the upper one i'll prob have to take off the bumper to get off.
considering the ss/tc grilles now that i was playing forza 4 and painted my car the color i have and the wheels i have and looked pretty good with the ss/tc grille.
Gonna probably put the springs on sunday.

The springs are pretty easy. My only advice is to mark the top hat of the strut assembly when it comes off so everything goes back in the same way. Ive heard if you dont keep things lined up they will tend to make some noise. So a paint dab or tape will keep things straight.

The rear springs couldnt be easier! One bolt per side thats it! Just unbolt the bottom of the shock and pull the axle assembly down pull spring out put new spring in use jack to lift the assembly into position and put the bolt back in.

Ive debated getting springs that drop be a bit more but I think I want to run wider wheels and tires and focus more on handling with this car since the camaro definitely wont be able to handle lol

i was thinking of going with 45 tires but they require you to go up on width also, so decided ill stick with lowering it and keepin the same size tires.
I'll have to read a readme on the lowering springs bc i have never done them myself, i got the spring compressor and just bought a craftsman jack with stands($49), also got the sway bar links :).
Hopefully by this time tomorrow night the car will be looking and handling a lot more sweeter.

just read a how to online and looks so simple to do.
only like 3 bolts underneath and the 3 on the tower.
and the rear is like one bolt lol.

I removed the front grille this weekend when i was replacing my headlight bulbs(one of my 6000k xenon's burned out, cheap ones though) so i got some nice ones from NAPA.
gonna try and find a shop around me that will install my muffler pretty good priced. my local shop guy isnt able to weld stainless :(.

Was thinking of having him weld flanges on for me but that'll cost a bit more. prob like 120. providing there doesnt need anymore piping welded on. That way if i chose to i could quickly swap back to my original muffler, but i may just have a local shop weld it on.

There's 3 moogs for some reason. I bought the shortest. All you have to do is take off the stock endlinks pull the swaybar down and bolt the new endlinks on. This advice is straight from 2 of the biggest delta (cobalt/ion) guys around (john Powell and maven).

As far as tires I'm switching to 255/40/18's.

okay so i went to advance auto and they had the moog ones, was cheaper than the napa ones i bought. i installed the rear springs, but ran into an issue... the rear springs were rusted and ended up breaking off so i had part of the spring still on the bottom hat, removed with a butter knife. then the fronts...omg the fronts... i gave up after 2 days. i had them off and compressed but the strut nut would not budge one bit, i even bought a $200 compressor to try and impact it off and did not work. so i'll have to take it to a shop.
I did however install the napa sway links and one of them wouldnt tighten the whole way, would jsut spin, they have a stupid ass small small area to hold onto with a wrench, so i took the napa ones off and returned them, one as defect the other bc i have to have two of the same one.
I bought the moogs and they are amazing. i do notice a difference, and the rear springs look great and arent too bumpy.
I'll post pics later when i can but i had to break off the stock links and use a grinder to cut off the bolts bc i didnt have vicegrips lmao.

now i have vice grips and a hammer :P.

I just need to get the fronts installed now.
