2nd pic is really winning it for me. Kinda makes me want one, it looks real good the way it is right now.
Good job.

I'll just ignore all the other BS in this thread and comment on the first post. The new wheels look way better then I thought they would. Throw a 10mm spacer on the rear, add a lip, clean the car up and enjoy it is all I can say. Awesome progress though. This is the best the car has looked so far.

NO on the center caps, they are hideous and look like shit, hence why i and chris never ran them on our cars with those wheelsspeed;232413 wrote:Lol how can you call his opinion false? His opinion is subjective only to how he is feeling about your choice of lugnuts.
Anyway the wheels look good, although i was never a fan of white wheels they look pretty good. Just gotta get some center caps, and i think those extended lug nuts would set it off better then the exagerated long studs but to each his own. <end opinion.

Hey matt if im free tomorrow we can run by home depot and pick you up some d.i.y center caps, thats what i used on my wheels and i love em.to me it just looks better then a hole in the middle, and they just pop in and out so you dont have to modify anything. And at 1.50 a piece you cant beat the price.

looks good matt.
and im gonna go out on a limb here and say that i like the look of the wheel studs sticking out... but they woould look even better if they were clean and shiny. take a toothbrush and some soapy water to them. make them pop.

Wheels look good. Need to paint the wiper arms. With my extended studs I have aftermarket open ended lug nuts that are more low profile and only have 5 sides so they have a key. Just looks a little cleaner. Other than that looks good

WOW! That looks great dude! I really like them on that car.
I do however think some extended lugs would look a lot better, and who cares about thread count, we arent talking about sheets. It wont make any difference. lol
Not to mention, being exposed like that, they will rust.

well the rears will rust but the fronts are grade 8 and except for the one i had to retap they are coated to resist discoloring or any corrosion. even without the coating they wont rust just will turn white. if they are discolored its because of grease getting on em.02Type-S;232463 wrote:WOW! After seeing the Civic tonight...that car looks sweet as hell the way it sits...but it's your car...so do what makes you happy with it man. Also...if you want easy to mod center caps....get Civic Si caps and they're easy to install.
