Cause then they won't be "hella flush" and have to spend shit tons of money on tires every other month, if they're even that lucky to get that much wear out of them before they fall apart

A little off base here. I never wore tires out every other month when I had my Jetta on 17x9's w/ a 215/45.

On the other hand. I do think it's dumb to put 9 inch wide, low offset wheels on a Civic that just got over $1,000 in brake and suspension upgrades. Not mention it is pretty clean considering it's age. Those fenders aren't going to stay straight for very long not to mention paint chips and rust after the first couple months of driving.

I've been there, done that. It was fun. But I hated driving my car every time I got in it.

But like I've said, let me know if you need anymore help with the car.

I was going more for just drastic overstatement with lots of sarcasm. I get that it all depends on how much camber you run that affects the tire wear on setups like that, but I just don't get the need of a 9" wheel on a car that has no need for it. I don't care what people so, the "hella flush and stretched tire" look is very unsafe, especially if you're going down the road when that tire goes.

even if you put this much camber in, you still have tires that are too big.

I agree, car looks like shit with those wheels on it and so will this one, with the amount of available wheels out on the market today with GOOD offsets to give the flush look and still be functional. I am all about flush i mean look at my integra but shit man there is a point, and you went WAY past it

15x9 +15 with a 205/50/16

I agree with chris, there are way more options out there to get a clean look and have a flush fitment.

15x8's are the widest i'd do and a +25 makes them sit perfect IMO.

the new Stance Mindset and Emotions are exactly that size and look good a fit great.

And what rob said, you just got some nice suspension and you say you want to AutoX and drive back roads but you'll never do any of that fun stuff once you hellaflush your car and hard park it. It physically can't do that if you use that setup.

First of all let me say thank you all for your opnions. I am not building this car because I like the HELLA FLUSH thing or because I want you to like it. I am building it because I want my car to be what I want. I want to be able to go to the track and then clean my car up and tweek it a bit and it look "stupid, retarded, pointless". This car will be tracked, obviously not on these wheels. The ESM's are 16x9's +15. Tires that are on it now are 205/50/16's. And I will admit I fucked up buying these tires, but I will roll on them as long as I can. and I will buy some wheels for track use soon, which will be way more track friendly. And hopefully after this car is done it will be a track beast. But that is a ways away.

That being said, feel free to share you opinions freely. Haters will hate but in the end it is not your car.
