took the car to the strip for the first time. We only have 1/8 around here, but my first pass was a 10.506@76.00 and after getting used to the car a bit finally got it down to 8.893@84.41mph. I was satisfied for now, seeing as it was on street tires, full tank of fuel, on a medium tune (have not done cam angles, or gotten into timing hardcore yet).

60ft times were dismal, mostly in the 2.2+ range. So stickier rubber is in order along with new suspension (i am going to do anyway).

anyway, I'm having fun with it and the times will get better as I get more seat time.

I'm gonna go research some shifter bushings, mounts, and tires now.

Ya the 60 ft times are killing me too. I need to get a set of slicks. I ran my car at the track friday and couldnt get past a 14.1 at 102 but with a shitty 2.3 60 ft with bolt ons. Needless to say the bald falkens didnt work the best. My buddy ran a 14.0 at 99 with a 2.1 60 ft with just i/rh/e so theres plenty of room for improvement. 60 degree weather and dew didnt help either. lol

Use the K-Pro's launch control, the best 60's I ran had it set at around 3k rpm, 2.0's without the LSD on the drag radials with about 14 psi tire pressure. But that was also with an Ingalls Torque Dampener too, maybe pick up another one of those to help out.

Ya i tried using it. I was trying around 3800 or so since that was what vtec is set at. I have all 75a innovative motor mounts and quaife lsd and it would still wheel hop like a bitch. I think i might try around 3300 or so and try to easy out of it.

In due time sir...In due time. I went down there just for pure curiosity to see what it did in it's current DD form. I put the Hoosiers on it the next night to play a little bit, but only got down to about 20psi since I still had to drive home after. I will be playing with launch control, boost by gear, and higher boost once I finish debugging. As far as the torque dampner goes, I'm going straight to the Drop Engineering mounts as soon as $ allows.

....assuming I keep it. ;)
