Anyway, figured out what the mystery CEL was from... the K-pro installation was not secure. Hondata tech support pointed out that the dealer that installed that particuar unit is no longer a dealer due to quality issues with their installs. After a few minutes with a soldering iron it was resolved. Spent quite a while lining out the tune and verifying that is was safe (tuning on 105* day FTL). During the day the AC quit working, and on the last pull up the interstate the wipers and driver's headlight came on! Last night I spent a few minutes to track down the issue...here's what I found:

It only took me like an hour to get that harness pulled up and outta the bay! FML.

next comes the arduous task of repairing it...

on the bright side, my buddy did retune the car to run 1bar boost all the way to 8K rpm! JesSi had told me that his tuner was running out of fuelpump capacity at 6K.

yeah, I forgot to put in that post that the cause was the wastegate dumptube. It is aimed almost directly at the harness, brake prop valve, and the O2 sensor plugs...

no, didn't check for Mountain Dew smell. I do think I need to see about getting sponsored by Monster and 5 Hour Energy! lol.

spent about 4 hours repairing the harness last night. Still gotta loom it back up and rerun it into the car, but now it's solid.

went german got expensive then in and out the hospital then working all the time sold all my honda shit then said fuck it came back got a clean 95 si hatch with 143000 miles no rust orginal owner and milano red not milano pink. Since i got a couple dd so this will be my toy.
