so, I've got a buddy of mine that is coming to town to visit. while he's here he is going to see if he can fix my CEL problem and maybe smooth out the tune a bit. I still haven't had the time to do the pump/regulator/lines, but I've got some vacation coming so...

yeah, I was at the shop 3 days in a row and the only visitor I had was from North Carolina...not a single local showed up...

Anyway, figured out what the mystery CEL was from... the K-pro installation was not secure. Hondata tech support pointed out that the dealer that installed that particuar unit is no longer a dealer due to quality issues with their installs. After a few minutes with a soldering iron it was resolved. Spent quite a while lining out the tune and verifying that is was safe (tuning on 105* day FTL). During the day the AC quit working, and on the last pull up the interstate the wipers and driver's headlight came on! Last night I spent a few minutes to track down the issue...here's what I found:

It only took me like an hour to get that harness pulled up and outta the bay! FML.

next comes the arduous task of repairing it...

on the bright side, my buddy did retune the car to run 1bar boost all the way to 8K rpm! JesSi had told me that his tuner was running out of fuelpump capacity at 6K.
