Call the officer who wrote the report and ask. If they didn't include his insurance on the report, then it is quite possible that the driver didn't have insurance.

If that is the case, that's a whole other can of worms. Get a quote ASAP. Call the DA and see if they can offer you any assistance, you probably have to go to small claims.

When I wrote DA I mean the prosecutor. See if anyone in the office will talk to you and give you advice.

can they find it just by looking up the registered vehicle? the officer could only pull up where the vehicle is registered to. and not who they are insured by.
