Few updates to my pos (shebalt,slobalt,cobalt)

When I first got it.

New gauges (didnt like the white face 140mph gauges)

Unintended upgrade. swapped from the stock long flimsy FE3 swaybar endlinks to moog FE5 endlinks. The stockers could be bent by hand. Thanks to mazkid for the help on these.

Forth Generation Projectors (wanted to do HID's the right way.)

6k/6k ddmtuning hid kit

Still need to adjust the lights a bit. But the cutoff isnt too bad. Definitely better than running the HID's in a halogen reflector housing.

And waiting for the new downpipe still...
But heres the header next to the stocker... (ZZP Midlength 1 3/4 Header)

And the stock downpipe next to the old aftermarket downpipe (3 inch till after the cat then 2.5 into the catback flange)

Once the downpipe comes in all shes getting is the new turbo grill a tune and maybe a rear swaybar. Then shes done and will be moving onto making the eclipse a bit more fun to drive.

Thanks to mazkid and andyjt for their help. Still a slow girls car. But the small things have made it more fun to drive.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Wait, so its lowered?? And how do you like the DDM hids, Im thinking about getting them for the Integra.

its lowered .6 only in rear. I didnt want to be slammed I just wanted less bodyroll/brake dive/ and better response.
Look at the rear wheel gap in the first pic then look at it in the last pics. lol thats why I call it a leveling kit


And so far im liking the ddms. JustRob and SilverKnight have ddms as well.

My buddy just bought one and he got the retune kit etc, says it's made a huge difference.

yeah im going to have trifecta tune it after the new downpipe goes on.
The auto's benefit a lot from a tune. Would be nice to drop 4-5 tenths through the 1/4 though only plan on 3 ish.

I know nothing about these cars, but the way he described it. The stock ECU is incredibly limiting, to the point that it negates any mods you make. Apparently there's a factory retune, he bought the car and the private seller threw the kit in. He's swearing by the change it made.

ah he has a Turbo model then. SS/TC. They are horrible about modding unless you tune for it. You could do a front mount full exhaust hard pipes etc and still be pretty much at 260hp (stock is 260hp) But if you do a GMS1 tune on a fully stock car you would be around 280-290fwhp lol stupid new cars...
