I used aircraft remover to strip the valve cover. Um. Can't remember for sure on this one because I've done a few projects lol but probably sanded it with 500 grit. Used etch primer, then primed it and used the same PPG paint I used on the car. Sanded off the Honda and clear coated it. I have pics on my computer that I took during the entire process.

If it's not to much a hassle would love pics of the process. And thank you for the tips. Also seems like you tapped up every whole well. I presume that's a must ? Can't get any paint on the underside ? Also did ya clean up the underside much ?

I taped up all of the openings to keep paint from getting inside and then eventually chipping off into my motor. Plus, it's just the proper way to do things lol

I used Wesley's Bleach White on the underside. I've used it to clean just about everything when I clean up a motor because it is amazing for cutting grease.

If you search Mini Kitty on facebook she has a page, and it has most of my build pictures on there and the valve cover process.

It's almost time to put her up for the winter and start on the 240 project. But by next spring I plan on having the bay cleaned up even more and I'm saving for a new header since mine is smashed to shit lol They are a little expensive, but I think a bisimoto header would look great

Alot of guys on D-series.org report that the Bisimoto headers have a tendancy to crack.

i went thru a header every to every other month on my b16 crx i was braking them like crazy,

I haven't heard anything bad about them, I'm picking up a replacement for my mushed one in the meantime for dyno day but this spring I plan on a bisi header.
