Took her for a drive yesterday, hoodless lol I have a new hood down at the shop, used the old one for sledding...

I've started ordering parts and getting ready for this build so it's finally time I can get this thread going. Once again, just like Kitty Kar, I've given myself a ridiculous timeline because I want to take her to Vegas/Cali this spring. This isn't the quit date of my build, just the deadline for my project base. Let's see if I can do it!

Deadline: April 28, 2010

OEM hood bra. I only needed one, bought this one then a Legend member said I could have the one from his old sol so it looks like I'll have a backup lol

Ordered my paint for a complete color change and for the bay :)

And today the mailman brought me a beautiful set of brand new OEM zig zag mats.

I also ordered this CF lip from JDMshit.com. This is a stock photo, but I'll have a real one when it's delivered...

I'm calling Endyn this week to order a new http://theoldone.com/components/cylinde ... 0Specs.htm B16 cylinder head for better flow than the stock one I have on my lsvtec right now, per Tony's suggestion. I've also decided on ordering the flat faced valves. I'll probably keep the cams I already have and upgrade my springs. New water pump and timing belt and all that necessary stuff and then a fresh tune on my existing Hondata. I'm not doing the entire build myself, I've chosen to take advantage of my local resources and work with Tony of Springfield Tuners. This way I can work on paint while he works on the motor and I have the ease of mind that I'll make it to Cali and back without a tow. :)

I'm driving her down to the body shop and Kyle is letting me use a bay to pull the motor to avoid towing costs next week for the rebuild and to paint the engine bay. moAR pics to come soon :)

Glad your painting the engine bay as well. Doing all the jams as well I take it?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Not feeling the definitely 90s floor mats though

The bay will be the pink color, the car will be canterbury green. I'm doing a "theme" My legend is kitty kar and this will be mini kitty, so same color theme but different styles. The bay will be pink w/ a plaid valve cover on the sol. Here's my bay for the legend...

As for the floor mats, sooooo 90's. But it's one of those things, they are oem and hard to get a hold of new. It's a sol thing.....lol

Oh, and I forgot to add to my previous post, yes I'm jambing it as well. I don't want it to be a half ass color change ;)

Right now it's this:
LSV w/ skunk2 valvetrain
GSR cams
password jdm intake
skunk2 intake manifold, coilovers
RC injectors

The head has been shaved down far too much and leaks at the hg. The only fix is to use a thicker hg and that isn't a permanent fix. It's also a *great* excuse for me to buy an Endyn head :wink2:
