240sx 69k OG miles my new daily..damn right

Post by ArpuS »

So I was looking for a new daily, and my uncle told us that his cousin in law has an old Nissan hed like to get rid of, but all he can remember is its a SX something.. so for a week we dont know if its a 200sx or a 240sx.. We go and this is what we find...(prepare to drool)

a 1991 240sx se auto fully loaded

Our cousin inlaw bought this brand new in NOV 1990, and it has 69K original miles on it. its been stored for the last 8 yrs in a garage under the Nissan 240 form fitted car cover, and was started weekly.. To say the car is mint is an understatement..

He bought it with 49 miles on it, the car has been around Laguna Seca multiple times, it has a Borla catback installed by Stillen in Ca as well as a cusco strut bar and we think it has an e-prom as he has paperwork for it.(as well as everything else) the car also came with the car cover, original bra, original sunroof visor, service manual, brochure from 91, as well as the dealer installed alarm(that still works), fogs and has slotted rotors up front.

It doesn't have so much as a rock chip on the front bumper, the HUD works great, it starts up and drives like a brand new car.

**And NO this car will never be sideways(on purpose)**

oh and heres the killer, hes an orthodontist who owns 3 m3's, his wife daily's a 4dr 98 M3, he owns a mint 88 M3, and a 2001 Luguna Seca blue m3.. he has a heated and a/c'd 4 car garage with his own lift.. he didnt need to sell the car and has had offers for years, but didnt want to sell it to someone who was going to rice it out or tear it apart, he wanted to find the right person who would respect the car and take good care of it.. he had one kid offer him $8000 and he was wanting to strip it down and swap in a rb26 and drift it... he said we were the perfect buyers and sold it to me for $2500 + and all i have to do is detail his m3's....

Should make a nice daily dont you think, when he asked what our plans were we simply said "we are going to drive it" and he told us thats the right answer.

As I said on stlsr and at happy hour very nice man!
2008 Chevy Slobalt
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

Yes I own 2 slow red chick cars & 1 real car!

Lame. Should have just bought a beater and called it a day if you're just going to do nothing but drive it.

And it's a GAB strut bar, not Cusco.
