new rod came in. waiting for balance shaft eliminator kit.
gonna see if i can take the rod to a machine shop to get the old piston pin pressed outa it and put on the new rod

alrighty my balance shaft removal kit finally came in. so now i think i have everything i need...couple trips to Fastenal here in town over the next few weeks. i've been dyin to get this baby started. and now that i can i dont really have much time off work. maybe this weekend. we'll see how it goes. i dont have a camera right now for any more pics but maybe i can use my buddy's cell phone or something.

took it in to the machine shop today...guy said he'd charge me $7.50 to press out the old and press in on the new rod. but wont have it done til tomorrow.

No new pictures.
But i do have updates.
I managed to get all the bolts and nuts i needed from Fastenal.
Engine is all put together. The adapter plate is installed. I need to grind down the heads of the socket head bolts to get the tranny flush with the plate.
The old engine is out. I'm getting ready to put in the new probably thursday or friday morning, just whenever i get those damn bolts ground down.
Right now it looks like all i'm needing is the vtec solenoid and the distributor.
Everything has been going along pretty smoothly. A few minor bumps along the way but nothin big.

still no camera available....thissucks
anywho, no update for a while cause school n all. but i got the engine in. i got the whole thing rewired. now all i gotta do is put a new starter in.
so i'm at hardcores place now gettin one. so i'll bring that with me.
but yeah i got everything hooked up and went to turn the key and got nothing. battery is charged. took the starter in and got it tested. tested bad so yeah. gah, gettin all excited.
i'm freakin pumped to have this done already!!!

well the starter randomly crapped out on me, and i just got a new one bout a week ago. still waitin for the damn snow to clear.
a lil disagreement happened a while back and i had to leave the place i was at. so now my car is at the parents which is 30 miles away. so tryin to get over to it and work on it with these dang blizzards sucks.
but as soon as the snow clears and i get a day or two i'll just have to use a cell phone to take pics. or something. but anywho, sorry bout the delays guys.
