yup i been readin about it and i think thats prolly the best way to go.crx08;232708 wrote:you can put the H23 manual tensioner on there instead of buying that auto tensioner
this rod is takin a while to get here. the new rod bearings have arrived tho.
in the meantime i've ordered a complete gasket set, fuel rail, a new clutch kit, timing belt, water pump, 02 sensor, spark plug wires, plugs, distributor, starter, some radiator hoses, altenator, and vtec solenoid valve. i think i'm also gonna get that balance shaft removal kit for 125 and then not have to mess with any of that plus that'll make more room next to the frame rail where h2bs tend to get really close.
other than what i've already ordered the rest is going to be just a bunch of misc parts. bolts. nuts. vacuum lines. the hardest part will probably be getting bolts for the h2b plate.
i've got a few buddies out here that are gonna fix me up a custom mount for the alternator.
i've been reading up on all the h2b swaps that are in the first 3 pages of a google search.
with everything i've ordered i'm back to level zero on the moolah scale but it'll take me a while to get it all together (mainly waiting on the parts) so next paycheck will go to the misc parts. i'm hoping the fastenal company we have here in town will have everything i need.
