98 Civic Hatch2b

Alright, just figured I should get my own worklog type build going rather than keeping everything just in my intro post.

I purchased a 1998 Honda Civic hatchback Dx with an ls swap, headers, and a k&n cold air intake for $1500.
It smokes and burns oil pretty bad.
The main purpose for the purchase was to do an h2b swap.
So I'll be having a post eventually with the current ls for sale. Might give it to Corey tho, idk.

I also just bought an h22 head with OmniPower valves, valve springs, retainers, new seals. Still needing opinions/advice on which cams to get (maybe the skunk2). I'm still doing research.

The cheapest h2b kits i've found are all round abouts 700-800 new and used. So i managed to find an adapter plate for 150 and the guy threw in the flywheel spacer for free.

I currently dont have a whole lot of time to work on it. I'm workin 9 hour shifts sunday, monday, wednesday, and friday. School on tuesday thursday from 8 am til 830 pm.
Funds are currently low but still should have enough to get an engine by Spring Break. Hopefully I'll begin the actual swap then. For now i just have to accumulate parts.

I'll get some pictures hopefully soon.
And IF i can, i'll post a step by step guide for the swap. I think there's one or two out there already, but another one cant hurt.

I'll try to keep everthing updated the best that i can.

alrighty sounds good. as soon as i do get a move on, on the swap i'll go thru the list of who's called dibs on what and see if they still want em.
the earliest would be spring break. which is early/mid march.

headers is plural meanng more than one and im sure that yor car don have more than one
