here's my update from when the pics on the first page. i know some of you have seen the car in the few recent months but for those who haven't:
i purchased the car back at the end of january of 2010. within a few days of owning it, there was a quick little photoshoot for my car (refer to page 1).
after owning it a little over a year (around March of '11) i had acquired a Buddy Club short shifter (thanks to Tommy). Installed it and it made a very noticable difference over stock. i don't have any pics of it installed or to show the difference with the stock one. also i would like to add, i had acquired some turbo parts but decided against boosting and am going a different route.
at the end of may/beginning of June '11. i picked up a carbon fiber type-R spoiler and had it paint matched along with a set of OEM headlights.

Now we're going to fast forward a little bit to the beginning of October '11 i decided it was time for the stock exhaust to go so i drove just to a little outside of chicago and picked this up.

Buddy Club Pro Spec III
and had it slapped on

shortly after that i decided it was time to get rid of a couple things...

Then November rolled around and it was a very nice day out so I called a couple buddies and it was time to change up the OEM headlights a bit.

after:

Didn't really do much of anything over the winter season other than clean it a lot and hoped we didn't get swamped with snow. So now it's time to get up to date. In March, with the help of Rob, we went ahead and put in my "newer" engine mounts. If you have ever ridden in my car before you would have noticed that it felt like you were inside a gaint vibrator. with the engine mounts installed, it feels like a brand new car. absolutely no shaking whatsoever.
a couple weeks ago my brakes were going out pretty bad. actually...that is an understatement. they were toast. left a nice half-inch groove around my driver side rotor. so at the begninning of last week with new OEM brakes in hand and a rotor resurfacing machine handy, a tech and i got to work. i don't have any pics of the rotors before hand but here's the finished product of the rotors. i think they look better than brand new.

that's my small update for now. now that i have the car where i want it (for the most part), i can start focusing on the engine.
see ya around!
