++++1991 Civic WAGON build woot!++++

Post by JDM EM1 »

Well I purchased a 1991 civic wagon back in november before my surgrey and I just now got started on it.

Its a completly bone stock wagon with 242,000 miles, no rust, paint is in very good condition, has brand new tires, new clutch, runs and drives great. Everything works on it, including the AC! I bought it for only $400 dollars!

Only bad thing about it is the front fenders. They have big dents on both of them. Didn't have passenger side corner or bumper light. I finally found a bumper light and corner light which was ordered today. Oh and it being VERY nasty

Everything that will be done:

-JDM License plate relocator
-I <3 Old Skool License plate frame
-JDM WINK 5 panel rear view mirror
-I <3 Old Skool sticker
-Circuit Hero Shift knob
-10k HIDS
-NRG yellow brights
-Yellow Fogs
-Blox red lugnuts
-EF side marker lights
-15" White Rota Slip wheels with Red pinstripe lip
-Whole Car re-sprayed Championship White (bumpers and all sprayed to match)
-Red penstripe throughout middle of car
-2000 SI front seats
-1994 Integra LS armrest
-Amber corners
-Amber bumper lights
-Lowered on H&R springs with Tokico fully adjustable struts
-New exhaust with OEM EP3 muffler
-Injen Intake

This car was absoubtly disgusting when I got it. It still is actually, but looks TONS better.

Here's some pics I have of it before and after a little clean up.

Will post pics as it comes along. (no job right now, since surgrey) so it might take a while

Hope yall enjoy the build as this will be my new daily, so I can start on my k24 build for my em1

absoubtly none!

and yeah it'll be a fun little project. I shouldn't have no more than $800 into the wagon and thats even with it being painted and everything. (buddy works for someone with 2 professional paint booths) Im going to do the body work, he will paint it for me for couple bills, so it should come out real nice!

It will look good after all said and done.

Great! I like the old wagons, glad to see another one is being saved. No rust is a bonus as well.

The NASTIEST thing by far was in the rear hatch/wagon part in a cubby hole, there was a few big wood roaches and mildew with doritoes and my gawd when I shop vac'd that up, it STUNK so bad! It knocked me back from the smell it made. LOL

other than that, i'd have to say where the shifter boot was there was gunks and gunks of hair/gum/dirt/doritoes all bound up together. It was pretty nasty. I am buying a new boot b/c of this.

Yeah man I hear yah, I honestly just stumbled along this car. Some random guy had this honda civic wagon for sale. I honestly have never seen one, so I was like hmm I'll go check it out and I bought it since it was only 400 bucks and then searched for a few and they have some great lookin wagons over at HCW, so I put a plan out on what I wanted to do to it and I had someone chop my wagon to what I wanted it to look like and the chop is pure sex.

Should I show you guys?!?!

but yeah man, after my k24 build my b16 is going in the wagon (maybe even the turbo will stay on the b16 too)

I know right. I did wear protection though when tearing into her.
