the meth kit wont get into use until i get a big ass turbo, the E85 tune alone tho should let me push it to 20lbs and higher. i say 20 lbs because im going to make as much as possible on the stock LS block. a very well done tune can undoubtably put me into the mid 400s with my setup. albeit my goals may be stupid..or to far fetched for most of you guys but you gotta have dreams right??06sik20z3;215608 wrote:BIG PLANS :PDT_newy:

lsvtec would probably be cheaper....and still outflow a well done ls head. The money to make a ls head flow like a vtec head is hard to justify. Vtec heads have bigger valves, more aggressive cams....and the valvetrain is built a lot more stable than an ls. I have popped rocker arms out of the ball sockets trying to break them loose.....I've always thought this was a poor design.
I don't know if you'll make 450whp.....you would have to make about 350-370 wheel torque to get up there. Unless you can keep your torque from falling off a cliff.

That is actually not real pricey. The pricey ones are multiple thousands.....I just have a plain skunk2.RBs93;215708 wrote:still doing my research for cams...looking at the Crower 3. 3/4 race cams.

Most motors have some blow by that gets by the pistons. This pressure ends up in your crankcase, and can work against what your engine is trying to do. You vent the cover to relieve the pressure. It can be excessive enough to keep your turbo oil drain from draining properly....which eventually can cause leaks from your compressor and turbine seal.

-i was thinking of just getting a S2, there is a site that ports them out even more.
-so where/what do you run the lines to from the cover to what? a filter of sorts??

Then looking at GSR manifolds is pointless since they don't fit without modification.RBs93;215713 wrote:no prolly not, everybody asks me why and i really dont have an answer. if to get to my goals requires to put a vtec head on it then i will but for now im building a straight LS
