thats true, though I made most of my money off the H&R race springs and the rear disc conversion it had on it, but I held on to all the parts b/c I had a shop so it was no biggie. but all n all I ended up giving all the parts away about 5months.
Then me and a few buddies had fun with a sledge hammer to the remaining parts of the car (frame basically) and tying chains around the sunroof housing and tying it up to a truck and flipping it over numerous mounts of time, lol it was fun.

Haha...I wanted to run mine over with my truck, but had no way of moving the bare shell to a spot where that could be done.

first settlement was at 4700 plus 1200 buy back on the integra. so 3500 cash and the integra.
second settlement (after about 2 hours of arguing with the adjuster and hours of compiling evidence to back up what i really should get for the car and parts) 7800 plus 300 buy back for the integra. so i got.....

i have a friend wanting the GSR engine/tranny/axles; engine has 113000 miles. Im new at this. what should i ask for it? Thanks a lot

Well, I'm having problems believing 7800 with a 300 buyback. Any insurance company determines buyback by multiplying the vehicle value by 15-20%. So, if you really got 7800, your buyback should have been 1170-1560.
You probably should take a picture of that $7500 check and keep it as that is definitely hard to believe. I'd really have to see it to believe it myself. With 99-01 GSR's bringing 5500-8000, seems like a dream to me...
But yeah, show us a pic of that check. You are definitely the man if you got that kind of money and somehow bought your car back for 3.8% of your loss value. You should really write a book on how to get more than full retail (5120) out of a car from an insurance company; you could make a lot selling it.
Or did you mean that payout and medical settlement is 7800? That would make more sense and sound a lot more like an insurance company (paying out so you can not make any more claim on medical against them). Either way, let us know. You did good regardless.
