we try .. the cars still need a little love in the prettyness area but the fact that both cars are up and running is awesome and give it time the little things will be worked out

nice work guys! my question is for Rob, why did you want to get rid of the GSR? because it was an "AJ" motor? Or do you have plans with the D series?

There was no reason for me to keep it. There are better ways for me to invest $2,000.

And I put 10k+ miles on my last 'AJ' motor before I sold it to mod the Jetta...

Hey, I take all the bad stuff back that I said about you guys. It was wrong of me to even say that the swap was done shotty. It was not very nice for me to point out things that I thought were wrong when it's pretty obvious that the swap quality was done top notch.

BTW, did you guys get the car towed home today? Who in this topic is actually going to help Ryan get his car running again?

Quite frankly, all you poeple on AJ"s ass because that f22 blew need to gtfo. that engine did not blow due to anything he did or did not do.

From what I was told, he shifted hard into 3rd and the car wouldn't go anymore. Clutch, diff... who knows. I'm more than willing to help him out the best I can due to my shoulder.

Sounds like it will just end up needing the clutch hydraulics bled. At least it should be a quick, cheap, and easy fix.
