Free hatch for me
thanks kind of cool to have a "project" again, i did some work last night mainly just tear down and clean, the carpet was a complete loss it was torn and moldy so i took it out, im gonna need to take out all the interior just to clean it. the guy who had the car before had a habit of leaving the windows down all the time, so everything was wet and stunk.JustRob;209117 wrote:These comments in here are great. i went through and made a list of things this thing needs so far:
driver seat
carpet
steering wheel
dash Board
passenger side door panel
spare tire cover
some sort of multi point intake, fuel rail etc (preferably 0bd1)
y8 or b7 distributor
head liner
windshield
clean
clean
clean
i have decided to convert this to obd1 and keep the a6 i want to maybe do a little port matching and throw in some p29 pistons and see what happens and of course the usual stuff intake, header, exhaust...

so i did some work to the hatch last night i took off all the struts to get things ready to lower the car. to my surprise both front struts are blown which sucks cause they arent more than a year old.

removed all the A/C stuff.

started to remove the dpfi intake to make room for the mpfi z6 intake.

PO6 ECU homemade obd0-obd1 jumper harness and 4 wire o2, im going to use the extra set of ECU plugs after i get everything converted to mpfi and obd1, cut the obd0 plugs and solder the obd1 plugs directly to the harness instead of using the jumper harness just cause...

im still in need of a distributor to complete the obd1 conversion...

My car loves E85 but its also a F20B. I had a 90 4dr ex civic with the a6 in it and it ran great. Good luck with it.

more pics washed, waxed, removed the pin striping, painted wheels, painted trim pieces, replaced the blue bulbs that were in the marker lights. i cant decide whether or not to put the mud flaps back on the front, if i do i have some rear ones from a crx im thinking of putting on too, cant decide. i cleaned the engine bay also but havent got any pics yet

im still waiting to get a distributor so i can complete the mpfi swap and obd1 conversion, it needs new carpet too...it needs alot...

you plan on trying to fix the fenders or anything? i'm new to hondas but was checking out rustrepair.com and they sell replacement panels for hondas. i'm wondering if they suck or not, they are $60 i think, and i see your fenders are rusty
