My new car-sort of....90 Civic 4dr

Post by RSXSLVR79 »

small update:

nothing really done to the car but i did try to do a DC center console swap. However, after 2 hours of tedious work, swearing my head off, it became obvious that the console will not work with the automatic seatbelts. Grr! looks like i will try to find an EDM connecting console or something?

Also, this past friday Justme5842 and I went to the "track" with a bunch of locals. I smoked a Mazda 6 (who approached me for a race) and beat an EG coupe with a B18B by about a car length.

next on the list of upgrades:
-Just ordered a full Energy suspension kit to install ASAP
-trying to find OEM headlights that are not insane expensive
-I got some Stanley side markers from Justme5842 to install
-I also have a 1st gen Integra lip that has been lying around for a long time that i was going to put on my prelude, but i think it would work better on this car
-door sun visors if i can find them
-a quest for a yakima rack

Your car is full of win. So clean. Normally, I don't like the lower body painted black like that, but it looks good here. The 1st gen integra lip will look great on this car - do it.

Minor update:

Did some work to the car-im in the process of installing the Energy bushing kit periodically. I have only done the front swap bar endlinks so far. I was going to use the shifter bushings, but they are for a D series. oh well...

I installed an 1st gen Integra lip on the car-its clean and simple. Pictures coming soon!

I also ordered a LeBra hood bra for the car, but it has not come to me yet. I cant wait to put that on the car!

my list of improvements from here:

stock headlights, corners and bumper lights
install side markers (recently purchased from Justme5424)
paint front bumper (its sun burned )
i really want an OEM 99-00 civic SI shift knob

long term:
paint job(im thinking about going back to the OEM silver)
yakima rack
clean up engine bay (wire tuck and delete some of the emissions shit since im now in NM!)
drive the shit out of the LS swap and when it starts acting up, B16 SIR II or JDM GSR swap

She is looking pretty good but i have many long-term goals for her. in the near future, i would like to get a new filler panel for the front as well as stock headlight housings. A new Camber kit is also something i will be needing shortly-the Ingals shit is rattling like a bastard! Im thiking skunk 2?

Let me know what you think

very nice man!! and I know you've been doing stuff to this for awhile, but first time seeing this and the two tone def. goes well with this car, since almost all models of this year 88-91 style hondas came with the black bumpers etc. so it doesn't look bad at all.

keep up the work, its clean for sure!
