Here's my update: Last night I got the shifter assembly mounted minus bolts to actually hold it to the car. Had to cut the stock shifter mount out, and cut under the dash for the cables to come through. Got the cables connected and the shifter shifts the transmission so I know I did it right. LOL

We made a list of what needs to be done and have it pretty well planned out for the week. Pretty sure we'll be working on it every night after work, and he's taking Friday off I think. We're getting it done!
