Better shape for 3500. OK, maybe. BUT, for the extra $3,000 I have left over after I buy the car, I'll put money on it that this will be WAY nicer when I'm done (If I choose to make the outside look nice; I really like the aged look...)
This car runs pretty darn good and it's filthy. Once I do some cleanup, I'll post more pics. I'm going to worry about making the car run and drive like new before I worry about cosmetics. I'll probably roll it around with nice wheels and a drop for a little while and consider a repaint and new interior down the road if I really like it.

Trying to track down a 1962 convertible right now. Hopefully, I find that it's available. That's the one that would get put together for someone then given to them. Figure it would be a nice surprise for them to get it back running and driving like it should...

If you can get more info on the one north of columbia, let me know. As for the 62 vert, I'm looking for the one he got rid of so it is actually 1 of 1 that I'm looking for.

Well, car is a done deal. I'm supposed to pick it up on Friday. I had to pay out the nose for it (Eric was there when I got the call) but I think I'll still be able to make it halfway nice.
Anyway, here's what I'll have in the car:
6 control arm bolts for Acura Integra
2 Moog Trailing arm bushings for Acura Integra
$200 cash.
So, I'll have $200 in the car out of my pocket. I know, go ahead and start making fun of me now for paying WAY TOO MUCH for this hunk of crap. :laughing1:

He does. However, he said he'd rather see someone do something with the car instead of have it sitting around for another 20 years. I just have to let him check it out when it's done and give him a ride. I figured that was pretty fair...
