I bought a new project car, it's an 88 RX-7 vert (5spd, n/a... like all of the convertibles)
bought it real cheap, ran kinda iffy and looked like total shit.... it has only been claybarred in these pics, no buffing, no wax at all. after $30 in sparkplugs/wires (and installing all of them WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO GO), it runs 1000x better.

and picked up a new daily driver, it's a 91 Nissan Hardbody (2wd, 5spd, 4cyl)
100,000mile previous florida truck... rust free, but the interior has been baked in the sun. Runs and drives awesome though.

yeah... remove the $10 from the front of that pricetag.... and you'd still pay more than I paid for mine. I am plenty happy with the one I got and what I paid for the shape it's in. I basically plan for it to end up in a wall or something anyway... I am only focusing on drivetrain/suspension/basic bolt-on mods and leaving the body as is

my real issue is that I just got tired of fwd and I didn't really even know it. Drag racing has never been a huge deal to me, I've always preferred twisties... After I started hanging out in the drift pit at MM and working on a few of my friends' drift cars, I completely re-sparked my long dead interest in cars. I've owned 15 hondas, and I am sure that I will have another one at some point, it was time to branch out a little.

no, and I'm kinda happy about that. Plus, I have a set of seats to throw in it soon, just gotta get brackets made

yeah, that was the first thing I noticed too.... that's actually at the sellers house, it was dark by the time I got it home last night

coilovers and wheels are the first big things I am buying for it... maybe even a low enough offset that I won't need spacers
