Well, just got back from getting the windows tinted. I traded out a GM truck tune for getting the car done. So, total cost out of my pocket on tint: $0.

It's just 35% all around. I'm getting too old for dark windows...

+1

usually when you double gasket the oil filter, all of the oil would pour out onto the ground within 5 seconds... im suprised it still had oil in it lol

Yes, I'll paint them. I've been driving the car so I did not want to pull the arms off yet. All 3 of them are completely silver. I'll probably pull them this weekend, trim black them and put them back on.

Whoever put the filter on KNEW that was where the oil was coming from. They had it on there so damn tight that it was just dripping out.

Yeah, cruddy pictures. It's just the straight black. I will not put reflective on the car. Heck, I don't even like metalized film as it has a slight reflective look to it....

I'll get better pics later this week. Probably taking it to the shop today and putting it on the lift. I'll pull the wiper arms and paint them, put the new brakes on all around, and probably go ahead and do the timing belt, balance shaft belt, tensioners, water pump, valve cover gasket and new accessory belts while it is there. Probably replace oil pan gasket as well. After all that is done, I'll do my regular underneath detail. Clean up any residue, paint the brakes, spindles, muffler, etc.

Once all that is done, I plan on doing a full detail inside and out on the car. Clay bar, buff it up, shampoo carpets, blow out all cracks and crevices, etc. After that is done, it's ready for the wife to drive.
