1999 DX hatch. Black with Type K interior
2000 BMW black (not the pearl or metallic; just the pure black)
Here's what I'm doing to it-
Body:
1. Pulling complete interior all the way to metal. I'm going to spray in 3 or 4 layers of Cascade VBlock sound deadener on the floor, rear quarters, doors, and roof.
2. Adding 2000 Civic Si full body harness and engine harness.
3. Converting doors to power. Driver door is already done. Power windows, locks, mirrors.
4. Adding cruise (which is why I'm changing the whole body harness, not just the floor harness) and OEM Keyless entry/alarm.
5. Converting to all 99-00 Si dash parts (cluster, radio bezel/climate controls, cruise control button, etc) that way, it all lights up amber.
6. 99-00 Si appearance. Grille is already in as is the "optional lip". I have brand new OEM fogs that will be going in the car, too. Side skirts, moldings, and door handles are already painted black.
7. Putting an EX roof in the car. When I'm done, the car will have a factory power moonroof. I"m going to have to graft part of the hatch headliner board and part of the coupe healiner board then put new material on once it's fit to the car.
8. Tint the windows 35% and call it a day on the body for now.
Suspension:
1. ITR front rotors/calipers (may go Legend dual piston), disc rear brakes. Staying 4x100 pattern.
2. CTR front sway, ITR rear sway.
3. ASR rear brace for rear sway.
4. Some type aftermarket black rear control arm
5. Si front lower control arms
6. Bilstein/Neuspeed coil overs
7. Noltec rear trailing arm bushings
8. SPC rear camber and toe kits, SPC front camber/caster kit.
9. For now, I'm going to run the 16" Enkei's that are on my silver coupe.
10. All new OEM or HardRace bushings everywhere else on suspension if it was not already replaced when putting on new parts.
Interior:
1. 99-00 Civic Si front seats, going to have the Si rear material custom fit for rear seat.
2. Adding OEM tweeters, factory Si CD player and the optional in dash 6 disc CD changer (was in the 2000 Si I just parted out) I'm probably going to modify the factory stereo and add pre outs to it along with upgrading the IC's for the internal amplifier.
3. Memphis M Class components up front (tweets in factory tweeter pods) and M Class 6x9's in back.
4. I'm up in the air on it right now but I may build a hidden sub box with a single 8 or 10 in it along with an amplifier to run it. I'm also considering putting my old modified A/D/S/ 8 channel amp in this car to run the whole system.
5. New OEM floor mats
That's it for right now on the interior.
Engine/trans:
1. B20Z block with micropolished crank, Eagle H beam rods, RS Machine 84.5 mm pistons.
2. Ported B16 head with new style LMA's (springs), Pro1 cams and supporting valvetrain. Intake manifold is up in the air right now. I'll probably end up running a HyTech TriY replica due to the primary size being larger than my RMF replica. Header will be the high temp black just like on my coupe.
3. All new OEM bearings, thrust washers, oil pump, etc.
4. The trans out of my silver coupe. JDM ITR 1-4, LS 5th, 4.785 FD and helical LSD.
5. ACT organic disc and their heavy duty pressure plate (no more of this damn Extreme PP crap....), new TOB and PB, ACT ProLite flywheel.
Car will have AC, power steering, and factory cruise control when I'm done. I'm putting this car together to look like what I think the 99-00 Si should have been. They were hatches up until then and I think they should have remained that way.
Here are a few pics of how the car sits now:

Hood needs a tiny bit of buffing due to scratches from being chammy'd. Paint is pretty damn nice for a repaint. I'll give it that. No dry spray, runs, or fisheyes. I'm surprised...

I'll update as I progress on the project. It's back burner right now. My machinist just moved to a new shop so he has to get going there before we do the block.
