So - a few months ago I went out to AZ to check out the area b/c my initial plans were to relocate there from ATL. Once I got to Arizona, I found a Wagovan in California (yeah, way to keep focus there guy). Initial plans were to do a full tune-up, then drive it back home to ATL. Wellllllllllll - ummmmm..... that was a PAINFULLY slow drive back to AZ w/ the original shit-box of an engine. If that 5 hours sucked... I knew that the rest of the trip from AZ to GA was gonna suck even more... LOL. So once I got back to AZ I decided to get busy. :) I couldn't resist. Upon getting the Wago back to AZ there were only 2 shops (IMO) to choose from to get things done -- Vivid, and Full-Race... and I got goodies from both while I was in town and got wrenches turned at both shops while I was there.

So - I pull up to Vivid - I saw some slow cars in the parking lot.

then I walk in...

BTW- the girl that sits at this desk (Michelle) - blonde hair, blue eyes and an ass from God himself - OMG!! The things I would eat out of her ass are limitless: LOL

Old Skool vintage Mitsu that was there: and my salesman Alex.

As I am getting a shop tour, I see this - LOL. They are developing go-fast(er) goodies for the Smart Car. If yoru shop isn't innovative and are doing the same things you did 10 years ago it won't be long before your doors will close. You have to think "how can I set myself apart from the 200 other shops that are earning a living doing what I am doing?" :)

Image

Lounge area: (this area is for noobs - I've been in the game too long to rest here - I was in the shop in back talking cars.)

Image

Here is my Wagovan on the rack at Vivid getting the modified GroundControl/EF/EE/DA suspension combination dialed in. I just realized that there is some ugly Audi behind my Wagovan... hmph... looks slow. :)

Another shot of the ugly German slow car;

Success!!!! B series + Wagovan = LOVE. Thanx Vivid and FUll Race!! I've since added a "BABY J" spec mutt-kit 80 shot of gas.

Image

Cleaned up the Fagovan before hitting a local cruise spot near Vivid.

Image

This wasn't a Vivid car, but it was parked down the street at another office - LOL. I can dig it.

Dumped - and making the drive back home to ATL - dragging V8s down the road the whole way. I love Honda. If you know your geography then you will know that from PHX to ATL the "quick" way doesn't take me through this zip code. I took the scenic route - haha.

Image

14 hours after leaving PHX --- I am somewhere west of Denver. (I went the north route b/c at the time Hurricane Ike f*cked up my original plans to go through TX). This is what being up for 20 hours and on the road for 15 looks like when you are a Baby J: I promise I am alert and coherent - I think. That's as far as my eyes could open.

Here are a few more from the trip:

Yeah --- we need these in ATL. IN-N-OUT > *

and yes I know my blackberry sucks --- but to give the VR Audi the resepect it deserves.... here is a better pic - LOL

I love where this road is going: NOWHERE - LOL

Oh yeah --- this is a Honda meet in Colorado Springs that I went to (in CO I got the Vibrant 4-1 installed at TC Perf (now out of business) and a custom exhaust done at Racing Trenz in Denver. And the Vibrant black muffler I purchased from Import Sports (I'm not patient - lol). At this meet, I meet this guy in the coupe and we BOTH had wheels that were less than a week old, and fresh rubber - he had 205/50s and I had 195/50s (Vivid didn't have any 205s in stock when I was in AZ -- :( ) So we switched literally at the meet on the spot - LOL.

As she sits now:

Registered, insured, and not really driven anymore (all of my cars seem to meet this fate) - LOL. I'm gonna grow up next year though (seriously) and sell some things off and keep only my favorites.

So... back in ATL w/ the beast, I hit up Mainstream Performance I decided to get the stock block dynoed - it of course came out later to swap in some :ninja: :)

134HP / 117tq - motor

198HP / 172tq - NITROUS/No Bottle Heater

And before you flame --- YES I know there are stock block LSs that make more on a wet shot --- this is UNTUNED on the stock PR4-A11 computer and is PIG FUCKIN RICH on the gas. I wasn't gonna chip the ECU just to tune for gas. Plus --- the TQ production is all I care about --- pretty decent power for an OEM Acura block and head.

But that is to show you kids that nitrous is the big equalizer - PERIOD. Yes I have turbo cars, but 200hp and 172tq is a FORCE for a lightweight daily driver... anytime a motor is square (meaning the TQ and HP numbers are close to the same), that's a fun car to drive. The cars that I pissed off w/ this BASIC BASIC setup was endless ladies.

We decided to go 1 mil over on the exhaust side ... so this head flows quite well : especially since it started life as a stock P8R anyway. I planned to make 170 - 175 on motor around 9k RPMs. I needed to make that on motor to make what I wanted to make on the 2 stage direct port 200 shot. Let's just say that I blew that outta the water. I am building the ultimate 2 stage 200 shot direct port setup for this block as we speak.
