Probably. This is the first Exospeed one I've seen. Didn't even know they made one actually. I've been looking into (dreaming) the Callos front end. Just looks better IMO.sharpie;205694 wrote:actually thats just the way most of these look his sits pretty well compaired to a lot of others i have seen

It almost looks like you had to stretch the front bumper to get it to line up everywhere else, which seems to be why it's wavy.
Shut up idiot. Go pollute another board with your worthless posts.
dont post dumbass comments and i wouldnt reply like that "idiot" why would it have been so hard to say hey wow nice front end and keep your bullshit comments to yourself.

im at bubble tea almost every week. but you cant just go into all these threads and bash people for criticism. it comes with the territory. if you post your car on an online forum you WILL get negative comments and criticism. theres no way around it. someone will always find something they dont like.

I posted my opinion. Why would I lie? I think it looks cheaply made and doesn't fit right. Not like it's his fault. He did a good job of working with what he had.willworkforhondas;205704 wrote:dont post dumbass comments and i wouldnt reply like that "idiot" why would it have been so hard to say hey wow nice front end and keep your bullshit comments to yourself.

the bumper is not stretched to fit and the wavy part of the lower opening will most likely be trimmed out to clear FMICs (that lip is like 4 inches deep). I think that's why they didn't spend a lot of time making it nice and straight. As far as the wheel being set back, that's just from the bad angle of the pic, it's actually pretty well centered in the well. Not to mention it's on Stock suspension so it's pretty 4wd lookin.
As far as this one vs the Callos Racing...good luck getting anyone to call you back for the Callos. I contacted Callos Racing to order one of their setups before I'd even seen the Exospeed. I mean ready to order, CC# handy, the whole bit! When they responded after several days of repeated calls/messages/emails they referred me to MB Racing as the only place to buy one. I called MB multiple times, sent numerous emails, and NEVER got a response....not even a we got your message and we're busy...nothing.
After the bad experience with no call backs, I did some more comparisons to see if I was willing to give up on the Callos pieces. The front view of the Callos if more aggressive, but the FMIC opening looks like an afterthought. I like the leading end of the fenders/ends of bumper area on the Callos looks wise, but liked the way the Exospeed flowed back to the headlights much better. I found that I liked the way the Exospeed was integrated back to the body on the trailing end of the fenders (doorjamb) too. The Callos pieces look like they are just big truckish mud flaps (there's not a lot of pics that show that area online either...I wonder why?), where the Exospeed is made to flow back into a stock sideskirt. Exospeed's pieces just looked more finished. Not to mention, when I called Exospeed, Will called me back! Holy CRAP what a concept! Ordered the front end and front VPDs for the car, plus he set me up as a dealer. What more could you ask?
These pieces are VERY new and are not perfect..I know that. In fact, when I called to order it he offered me the parts off his own car, since there weren't any other made at the time. I wasn't in a hurry, so they made these and shipped them out. After getting these fitted I called Will and told him about some things I ran into. He responded with 'oh yeah, I forgot to tell you about that'...lol. There's a couple tricks he neglected to relay to me, but nothing major. When I get some paint on it he wants pics for his website, which I thought was pretty cool.
Cliff notes- New, aftermarket fiberglass may not fit perfect. Still needs final fitting with the hood and FMIC anyway. JustRob doesn't like it.

Kinda what I thought...I was a little worried when I ordered them, since they are so new.sharpie;205694 wrote:actually thats just the way most of these look his sits pretty well compaired to a lot of others i have seen
agreed, not PERFECT, but with a little time they will be fine.SikofFalln;205695 wrote:The ones I have seen don't exactly fit as well as OEM stuff either, but for aftermarket fiberglass, that is pretty dang good.

yes, i'm aware the hood is fukked up looking. I plan on sanding it smooth and either painting it or vinyl wrapping it with shop logos and such.
gotta shift the ic over about 1/4" to get it perfectly centered, but you get the idea.
fitment around the headlights is pretty good for aftermarket fiberglass.
door seams are OK, not perfect, but I still have adjustment if necessary.

some people have brought up that the wheels don't look centered in the pics...I'm beginning to suspect a bent control arm on the driver's side. This is the roller that I got from 99silverCX...does anyone remember the history on that car?
