Yet another VSM hatch for me

Post by luvmyhondas »

have been really busy working on other's cars but got a little time to install some parts that FINALLY came in.

got it all fitted, just need to drill a few more mounting holes and get some permanent hardware for everything. Overall, it fits pretty nice, only needed clearancing in a few places. I'm going to pick up my hood this weekend, then we'll know for sure.

Sorry for the really dark pictures.

I don't like the fitment on the front end at all. Everything else is pretty cool though.

Rob-what do you mean? This thing fits pretty darn good for aftermarket fiberglass...maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment.

i kinda thought it looks like it fits pretty good, maybe good placement around the headlights and good gaps to the doors are an example of poor fitment and you "audioguru" havd had it wrong all this time with well fitting body panels.

Just referring to how wavy the grill is, how the wheel sits pretty far back in the well due to what appears to be a larger, longer fender and how the sides of the front bumper flare out. It almost looks like you had to stretch the front bumper to get it to line up everywhere else, which seems to be why it's wavy.

The ones I have seen don't exactly fit as well as OEM stuff either, but for aftermarket fiberglass, that is pretty dang good.
