Took new pics of the Protege!

Exterior is basically done IMO. I want to remove the painted-on pinstripes but the paint thinner I have is too old to do it, I guess. I may buy a new front bumper(the same one) sometime in the future and have it smoothed out like the rear one. That'll be when I'm really bored though.

Now I just need a bigger turbo and Megasquirt. :wink2:

Edit - 2 I forgot. Doh.

Hah well Mr. Law doesn't bother me...the Japanese front bumper has a raised "mount" with 2 large holes for the front plate...so I figured I'd put it on there. It also helps since the car is a little loud and uhh...I drive fast sometimes...so maybe they'll think I'm a good citizen since I have a front plate on it.

It actually got me out of a ticket for having my rear plate in the rear window before I got the rear bumper. The cop wanted to get me on something and after walking up behind my car, and me explaining the rear plate situation, he asked "You have a front one, right?" I said "of course!" and he looked. Got a warning for the rear...the only time the front plate has come in handy.

Distant future...I have to get this silver wagon thingy out of my brother's shop before the end of July, he says. A bigger turbo and MS will probably wait til next spring at this rate...but it's fast enough to keep me happy for now!

Yep, always nice to have a road to take pics on with no traffic in the middle of the day. When I left there I looked at the barn thing across MHXW and thought about taking pics there but I had passed the trail that goes to it and couldn't easily turn around...will do next time though!

I a;ways wanted to try to build one those. But i could never find a 323 GTX hb.
