So whats your motivation?

Post by Mazkid »

Mine? I do it for a bunch of reasons. Mainly because I enjoy making my cars "mine". Exactly the way I want them. I work on them to learn and show off what I'm capable of, and to say I can do things myself. I like spending my time working on them and making them 1 of a kind. Somehow there's still a lot that can be done to them so I'll have "projects" for a long while still.

I like the end results too, for my own enjoyment, and if other people like it too, right on! If not, oh-well, doesn't hurt me any. :)

lol at Dale!

motivation for me...don't know how to describe it. Best I can do is: I like the 'build' phase. Everytime I get a car close to 'done' I sell it. I enjoy the journey way more than the destination no matter how frustrating it may be along the way. The problem solving, parts sourcing, building, assembling, installing, etc. My FAVORITE part is when some minute little thing I did finally gets noticed and someone simply says.. that's cool, can you do it to my car too? Obviously, when a car gets sold the $ can be motivation too.

laff @ dale and his damn toes

my motivation is just to build it the way i like and enjoy it, track and dyno times do not mean anything to me so long as i enjoy driving it around and having a good time.
