well on a rig shot, your really gonna want the whole car in, maybe it needs to be longer? and your gonna want the shutter slow so the background blurs. and your gonna wanna push the car by hand a few mph so there's no driver in the pic. Id keep it in neutral to minimize jerkyness of the car as well. then you gotta uber edit the rig out. those are my suggestions, but I'm glad to see you made one! Looking forward to seeing what you will be doing with it!

How to Build an Automotive Rig. check this out for those who don't know what a rig is. or want to maybe make one yourself.

You cant fucking read can you, its not done yet, we were only using one pole to test out the suction and the magic arm, i have a 12' boom which, when full assembled, will be far enough away to get the whole car like i said in my first post.

We tried pushing the car but its too heavy, driving wont be that bad and it wont look like were ghost riding.

I already know how to take rig shots, I've been researching them for the past 3 weeks

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

well im sure it takes more than reading for 3 weeks. but incase you do need any help, ask andrew lee or j.evins on the jdmjunkee forum hes pro at this.

i wasnt bashing or anything just trying to give some input, but why didn't you just wait to get a good shot before releasing that you have this. :) :PDT_kult:

cool test shots I might add looking forward to seeing!

Ish, how many of these pics have you taken yourself? These are test shots, for fun... If you can do better, then post them, I would like to see them.

Many people out there are "better" at these shots than others, and in that same principle where some are advanced, others are behind. Andrew takes great photos of things, Potts takes great photos as well of othr things, it just depends on what they are shooting. Everyone has their own specialty to their own craft.

If you can take better pictures than Potts on his sample / test pictures, then post them, otherwise don't criticize him and...

well i dont see anywhere where I said I could do better? I dont even have a camera FTW! I wasnt bashing as I had said. I just really love photography, and can't afford the tools. And John has been a lot of help to me as far as learning goes. Was trying to maybe return the favor a little bit. I was just pointing him to maybe something he hasnt read chill. so maybe he could learn more and prefect this type of shooting as well, then maybe shoot members cars. And it takes practice not just reading to do so, as he stated "I researched for 3 weeks", so maybe that sounded like I was bashing.. I'm sure he knows a hell of a lot more than me about this subject, but I was only trying to help..

so sorry if you think im bashing. but I am not. I never criticized anything he shot not once.

Also, I see John bashing more peoples pic threads than anyone on here. but He is actually helping by doing so, I have learned a lot.

So really, in all, I don't see why your crying all over Johns thread,

And Andrew Lee does have some exp messing with these. back to the topic.
