Well if some of you have gone to any test n tunes or midnight madness last week, then you have seen my infamous 15 second runs ive been pulling lately. I have not been able to get any lower than a 14.8 since my first time running this year. I was blaming it on the heat and the track, but I believe I have figured out the real problem. There is no reason I should be boging off of the start launching at 6k.
It may be my MAP sensor. I read that honda had a issue with them in earlly s2000's w/ getting clogged. I was gonna just try the "MAP WHACK" method but as I read about it, I found that it was only a tempory fix in some cases (as it was risky). So I think Im just gonna order a new MAP sensor and tie wrap and reset the ECU and see if that helps. I will try to get down to the track tuesday if I get the stuff by then.

UPDATE 7-9-09
just got home and my shift knob was waiting for me, installed it as I sat at my mailbox. WOW, who knew a shift knob could make such a difference in throws. Its the Ricks counter sunk shift knob, it sits at least an inch lower than stock, and fits better in your hand. It feels a ton more solid. I got the polished version, only costs $40.

nice ride.. i'm not sure if i've seen you around though.

Turbo lag was invented to give V8s a chance.
