From intake bolt-on to a boosted RSX-S!

Hi all! I've been around these forums for awhile now and had a thread before but lost it and got cluttered with pictures everywhere so I'm starting a new one of my build. This is a time line of my car from day one since I owned it so enjoy and feel free to comment!

Day one, stock RSX-S that I got at 17 and started making payments to my dad to pay off the car.

First do it yourself mod I did was the JDM blackouts for the headlights. I had no prior experience to modding cars and even a simple task such as removing the bumper scared me but I got past those fears! :wink2:

Next mod I got was the C West front lip who my friend Brian bought for me. He's a mentor in a sort of way because he has helped/taught me a lot the first few months of owning my car.

I then purchased an Injen cold air intake and installed it myself. I felt proud since before I didn't know anything about cars and even didn't know how to do an oil change or bumper removal!

Then I met my best friend Anton who owned a 96 GST Eclipse and the modding began together!

I found a month old ad online for rims and it said they were sold but I decided to call anyways just out of curiosity and to my surprise the guy still had them! So I got them for free for swap of my stock rims.

Next I picked up used Tein S Tech lowering springs and installed them with new friends I met who had much more experience in modding cars and so our group began!

Soon after went to first car show in Millstadt for charity with the new group of friends!

Next my friend Tyler makes a deal with a friend who had an ABP RSX-S who wanted stock parts so I traded him straight up for a Seibon Carbon Fiber hood.

I then met a fellow CRSXer/STLHonda member Chris(RiskTypeS)!

It was time to fix up the rims I got because of horrible oxidation. Instead of taking it to a rim repair shop I decided to fix it myself to keep the trend of doing all the work on my car myself.

Now comes the fun part! By now I had met quite a lot of new friends and learned a pretty decent amount about my car and the modding scene. I decided bolt-ons wouldn't satisfy my needs so I got a loan from my dad and bought a turbo kit! Also I had my car paid off by this time!

Manifold Bolted on. We decided to do minor wire tuck at this point so the wires and cluttering will be cleared when finished. Also AC was removed and power steering assembly and lines were relocated. Afterward we put the turbo on to see what clearance we had and it was a tight fit but it fit back there.

Gauges! I got Autometer Cobalt Boost and Oil Pressure gauges. I am ditching the Autometer Air/Fuel for Cobalt EGT and AEM or AM Cobalt Wideband.
