Greetings from So MO

Post by Crazy Eddie »

Hello all,
My name is Crazy Eddie Hall. I hail from a little town called Marshfield about 20 minutes East of Springfield on I44. My body says I am an old fart in my 40s but my heart and passion for cars still has me as a teenager. I am married and have 3 kids.

My dad and I owned and operated B&E Towing for 19 years. That is how I acquired my Civic. The kid ran from teh cops thru 3 counties for several hours before missing a dirt road turn and ending up astradle a cedar tree. Of course he never got out of jail to get his car out of impound so it sat here for almost a year then my youngest son returned home his 2nd tour in Iraq and he tried autocrossing with the Ozark Mountain Region SCCA. I tagged along the next month and was hooked. Dad told me to fire up the Civic and use it. "If you wreck it, there is nothing lost." I replaced the LS axle and have been racing the car for 3 1/2 years now.

The body has over 300k, not sure of the engine but it did get a ring slap mid 2007. In FSP we are not allowed to modify the long block so most of my money has went into suspension and tires. I am currently running AGXs with Eibach 600#/400# springs, 19mm front bar and 21mm rear bar, adjustable upper As and of course urethanes everywhere I can. I bought an intake off the STLSR forums a couple of weeks ago and thaqt will be installed in the coming weeks before our season starts. It is my daily driver, work horse and toy. It has racked up 2005 & 2006 FSP championships with the OMR SCCA, 2006 OMR Travelling Tombstone Road Rally champ and narrowly missed teh 2007 championships (3 points) mainly due my left arm being in a cast for 2 of season's 6 races.

DaBeastWthn told me about you guys.

Have a good week y'all.
