if the engine has been untouched from when it left my posession, its not going to pass emmisions.. if it still has the Y8 head, IM, and ecu, it wont pass, before the accident i was in the process of reregistering it and it didnt pass, i know why and to put it simply, its because of the vtec head and ecu, if youre going to do a swap and just want to get it to pass than i would find a stock D16Y7 intake maifold and ecu, you wont have vtec but it will pass emmisions, also, the harness plugs will have to be pinned back to their original positions as they have to be moved for the vtec ecu...

Thanks for the heads up, but the guy got both inspections done before we bought it and they both passed, so he must have already done it, or he knew someone I don't know. I know the VTEC is still wired and active too, so I'm really unsure.

Will do, in about a year she'll have a k20 powering her. I'm sure I'll see you whenever i get back to work again.
