well i got my short block back from the machine shop and everything is looking good. i put everything together then figured i would take some pictures and make a thread because im bored. here is what i have so far. now i just need to work on the head

b20 block
decked .004
honed
polished crank
acl race bearings
tuner toys h beam rods with arp rod bolts
ross 84mm forged pistons
gsr/type r oil pump and water pump
full race ls/vtec kit

still looking for an oil dip stik tube if anyone has one

update 3/31/09
got a lot of parts in last week. im almost there. i have my catch can set up using a greddy catch can with a moroso breather along with prelude block adapters to run the hose. other than that new parts include
big tube high tech rep header ... yeah i know how terrible people say they are
skunk 2 cams
clutchmaster fx400 clutch
act street flywheel
arp head studs
edelbrock victor x intake mani
b17a head
supertech springs and retainers
the list of things needed are down to exhaust, injectors and headgasket. i think thats about it. should be comming together soon.

Damn, looks good Joe. Those pistons have quite a dome on them.. what head are you going to use?

not sure yet. come form of b16. if things dont go through for the head i want, i may be going with the new endyne b16 heads

Yep those are pretty sick. Any idea on what your compression is going to be with those pistons?

unsure of that also. the valve relifs are large enough to run skunk 2 pro ones, but havent decided yet

I'd suspect more compression than that. I noticed your guy you bought the pistons from stated 11.5:1 so maybe there is a way bigger valve relief than I am noticing. I'd honestly suspect 12.5 or 13:1 out of those pistons.

Liking your VTEC oil feed line. No steenkin -3 or -4 for you... That's -6 from the looks of it, right?

yeah that feed line is a monster. i was suprised when i got it in the mail. i bought is as a kit from full race. it is -6.

the pistons i got from a guy off honda tech and came with the spec sheet from ross stating 12.5.1 with a b16 head. after decking the block and im sure the head and using a .045 cometic gasket, i think it should be around 12.0.1. i think
