2009 Honda Civic Si Sedan, Redline Orange. Kinda funny how it came about. Some of you know that I sell Honda for a living. Our dealership was participating in a sales contest for new Civic, CRV, and Accord models. Jan 2, 2009 was the last day for sales to qualify...we were 1 car short!

The owner of the dealership was running around trying to scare up that 1 last deal at about 3:30pm. @4:45 nothing was happening, no traffic, no appointments, no light at the end of the tunnel. Then it hit me! I'm 3 months away from needing a car to drive (lease end on Ridgeline). I went to the owner and made him an offer on this car. Obviously, he accepted. I signed the required paperwork and I brought it home with me last night (1/3?09).

The color was not my first choice, but I like it. I lowered my payment by about 200/month, AND I still have the Ridgeline for the next 3 months for bad weather/truck duty!

I didn't have the car for 2 hrs before the first mod made! PIAA plasma Ion yellow fog light bulbs. I almost didn't get a pic of the car stock before I'd worked a deal for a set of wheels. Worked out a trade with 2008Mugen for a couple sets of wheels he was trying to sell. 17" Work Emotion XD9 and 18" Mugen whatevers off the Mugen Si (the ones that caused such a ruckus a while back). Slapped the Mugens on there last night.

Going to get the windows done first part of next week, and have been looking into either the Ingalls Stiffy ETD or the Boomba racing mounts. I hadn't gone 3 miles before a HEMI Ram wanted to play, and the 1-2 shift sounded like someone smacked the firewall with a hammer! The stock dampner SUCKS, so I'll be changing that VERY soon!

I think integ2000ls got a few pics of the car stock (and dirty, since it had been raining), so I'll get those from him later to post up. I'm getting my new car detail done after the windows are tinted, so I'll take pics after that too (with the wheels).

Ok here is the pics, again as stated before, we realized we didnt have any stock pics half way through the wheel swap. And it was a nasty rainy night, so car is dirty. But anyways, enjoy, I love the color.

new color for 2009...replaced Habanero Red.

Thanks everybody. I just dropped the car off for tint.
