Ouch, here I am trying to help a fellow member out and our shop and I get shut down. Yes I ride quite a bit but lately I've been working on em more and more. I have a good amount of work at the shop lately so I haven't had much time to ride.

i can has post?

ok, sure, I will has post... I got a free bike about a month ago, and have put more money in it this week than i expected to (and I am only 1/3 of the way done i think)
the bike is a 99ish Schwinn PowerMatic Mag.

then i spent money on it

first round of upgrades (seen above) include:
Eastern nitrous bars (to replace the cut stock bars.... should gone with an 8in rise)
Eastern Choker stem
Odyssey Aaron Ross grips
Odyssey GI pegs in black
Odyssey pedals
KHE Loyal 1pc seat/post combo

next is drivetrain: 3pc crank, 25t flywheel, new wheels w/ 9t rear

I've been riding 3 of the last 4 days and besides the bruises and the muscle aches, its awesome.
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

doubt it. i guess if u ride brakeless its nicer if u footjam your tire to stop. i stay away from that i do the ol drag your foot to stop, unless i need to stop NOW. haha.

i dont notice anything different in the ride or anything. i havent slid it out on gravel or anything either. i like the tire though.

anyone work in a bike shop around town that has some 2.5 - 3.0 simple wheel slammers? i need a set really bad. online shops are sold out and there is no bike shop around this town. (thought about opening my own)
