Good Gawd, I wanted something "DIFFERENT" from the stock USDM hatch colors... I know everything has pretty much been done, believe me I know Justin, I'm been in the Honda game longer than you son, I mean fuck... I did post all these cars that are EK hatches with the colors I like...

Obviously they have been done before.

That first color is a candy apple red and one hell of an expensive paint job. And if you get into an accident and need to replace or repair something you have to paint the entire car again.

Im confused on the matte khaki though. Wouldn't it just be khaki color with a base coat because pretty much all base coats are matte/satin.

I don't want a candy red, I just wanted a burgundy and that was the picture I found, so I posted it.

As for the khaki... If I do the khaki color again, I want it to be the dull look but with the clear coat shine. I don't want the color to have any "depth"

You're the paint expert, I'm just suggesting what color I want, then if needed, we can talk later and you and tom can help inform me on how I get the look I want.

So you just want a straight base with no kind of metallic or pearl in it.

If you go red I say go a dark red.

Pretty much... it would be the same red that your sprayed on JoAnn's 4dr.

Otherwise I would do the same type of Satin Khaki with clear on it... or with the green I would just get the stock OEM Cypress Green Pearl form Honda.
