Wasn't that bad shooting it.. Are you veiwing on a calibrated monitor? I think the dynamic range of the camera worked well on these as there is nice seperation with the different tones of black. from the car to the shadows to the tires. And its not like I have my monitor cranked all the way up or anything. They do appear dark on my non-calibrated work computer but I know better.

Here is what happened. We were in the "private alley" and a small suv pulls up at the end of the alley and looks at us for a bit. then drives off. We were done with the alley and pulled out to do a few more pics. Thats when a winnebego (sp?) pulled up and a 50 something asian man hopped out along with his Goonish 6'3" 300 lb son. The guy comes up and just says Oh, you are doing a photo shoot. I told him yah and he just said oh, this is my alley so I just wanted to check out what was going on. And then his henchmen son in the most stereotypical goonish voice says, "Nice car, I really like it." John and I cracked up after they left. I've never seen a "goon" in real life before.
