hey Chris, did you use the Y8 oil pump on this build (yes i know its a Y8 block)... i ask because the Y8 has a reputation for oil system failure... main reason for the question, i'm building a Z6, i'm told i can use the rear main seal and water pump from my Y8 on it, can/should i use the oil pump as well..? I'll prolly have to use the Z6 oil pick up and oil pan but just curious of your thoughts on this...
thanks

well the car is officially off jack stands, after living on them for almost 6 months

and since i got my new wheels for the ek coupe i decided to finally put the hatch wheels on it to see what they looked like..

yep i like them , now i just need to finish up the car, and make it all one color again

Still going with the same setup as originally planned?
Good to see it off stands and coming closer to being back out.
Rick has an intake manifold or head/ cam/ valvetrain that would probably benefit you.

as far as intake manifold i would love to have ricks but im short on cash right now, but im using a ported y8 thats port matched to the tb and head
as far as whats going on the car when i get it running is just going to be the 14b turbo set up that was on it when it blew up... this is for now ... eventually i order the 1000cc injectors, fpr set up i need and have a dp made so i can run the 60-1 at 20 psi :laff:
