not exactly sure on the color yet , the car needed a face lift no matter what it has some body issues i never fixed when i originally painted the car , so once i fix these and get the car ready for paint ill pick the exact color combo i am going with.Tyler;173745 wrote:what color will it be? everything looks great. parts look brand new. cant wait to see it running with no plans on breaking, lol.

UPDATE 4/7
okay i spent part of sunday and today working on stripping the Battleship Grey out of the bay and worked on getting it back to white and getting it ready for a high build primer to fix some of the cosmetic issues in the bay, plus i am removing some useless mounts, bolts and misc items i no longer need with the new fuel setup.
What i got done on sunday and how it started this morning:

and how it looks to day after i spent about 4 hours on the bay:

big difference so far , a little backward depending on how you look at it cause now i need to scuff it and prime it lol

Okay update 4/11
got some work done on the bay, removed some more brackets, eliminated the oem fuel lines and breather tube for the gas tank vent, and relocated a few things.
Also went ahead and scuffed the bay and then primed the whole bay with dark grey primer, you only get a partial pic of the bay for this update though because i forgot to take pictures after the final coats of primer and before i started applying the final bay color, so these are in progress picture not final product

and just cause ..... the teaser shot

this is no where near the final product, i still need to lay down another thick coat let it dry, wet sand it then clear it and then see what needs to be done from there, but so far i am liking the look and color choice for the bay, BUT i appears that my color choice for the exterior may have to change because the shade is ALL wrong, so i will be looking for a new color or going to florisaint auto paint to see what they might have in the shade i want .. i might actually have to get out a paint gun figure out how to lay paint if i can't get the color i want in a rattle can lol
