WOW! the pic you sent me on the phone didnt show the trans bell housing missing piece! Holy fuck! that is of utmost epic fail! However looks like you have your ducks in line and you will have a great built D-series in no time!

UPDATE 3/31

Okay been a few since i updated this but time to let you guys know where i am at again on this thing. Well the motor has been pulled and dissembled and inspected for the cause of the destruction. Basically what i came up with was a mechanical break down of the rod on piston #4.

here is the block pre-tear down, the turbo,manifold and head have all been removed

Here are the pictures of whats left of that piston

and whats left of the oilpan

the bottom end (notice the chunks and the damage done to the girdle)

the rod or whats left on the crank

the damage after i removed the girdle,crank and rods

well mark that one off as a loss lol , i was able to save the following off the block:
Crank
oil pump
water pump
timing belt
tensioner
sensors

so i will be moving all these parts over along with my new h-beams and pistons to a new y8 block that is at the machine shop getting decked and cleaned up today and should be ready tomorrow or thursday.

Okay so after a lot of thought about what i wanted to go to the car while it was down i came up with a few more mods i wanted to do to the car since it will be out of commission for a cpl weeks.

here are my current list of new mods:
-switch to a SS clutch line
-switch to inline fuel filter
-switch to AN fittings and SS fuel lines
-Strip and repaint E-Bay
-Step the tuck up a bit
-Possible Fuse box relocate and maybe move the battery to the bumper
-Port the HF manifold
-Have new downpipe made (current one is junk)
-Install 255lp Fuel pump
-Install MBC (up boost to 15+lbs)
-Install GSR Booster and 1" MC

okay thats the list for now i will adjust as we go along

But here is the start of the new mods as of tonight:

Stripping the e-bay and front of car
-removed the clutch line,fuel filter,removed fuse box,battery, and all front end parts

still need to pull the fuel lines out and cut them back to where i am going to put the SS lines and an fittings at

and as you can see i started stripping the e-bay already , the white you see is the original color of the car and eventually it will all be that way

your car is next as soon as you get me the rest of the parts ill start taking it apart (and not really next cause as soon as i get the parts the hatch goes outside and your car comes in)
