That depends on what you can afford, if a budget isn't that much of an issue then by all means go all out and get full coilovers such as Tein or maybe a combination of Ground Control springs with Koni shocks. If you go with lowering springs only most of the time there is a chance of blown shocks somewhere down the road.nomocars23;64949 wrote:what is the best way to lower my car .. ive heard just buy some lowering springs... and so far that makes the best sence to me... but then again ive seen ppl on her just get completely new dampers.... which way should i go.

I would go with a nice spring and shock combo but I'm not sure if theres much of an aftermarket for suspension components on a 3rd gen.

Well if there is not much aftermarket support, im shure there is SOMETHING out there IE ebay coilovers or something along those lines.

stay away from those cheap ebay coilovers... bad news. You'll blow your struts and be bouncing all over the road in about a week.
I would get some quality sleeve type coilovers (ground control, skunk2, etc) made for a civic/integra and throw them on. The weight of your accord is about equal to a late 90's Integra, Civic sedan, Civic Si... Sklnuk2 is more stiff than off the shelf GC, but you can order custom spring rates for your GC's if you wanted to do that. If it where me, I would get Skunk2 because they are cheaper and since your car is a little heavy, their stiffness should be just right. If your original struts only have 110k on them, they should be alright for the time being but don't expect them to last for years. How long they last kinda depends on how low you drop your car. If you stick with your original struts, you WILL be bouncier when you switch to stiffer springs so you might want to go ahead and get good struts to put in at the same time... its up to you and your budget, really.

what ya need to do is find out what other models interchange with your car, then after you do that.. you can start.. ebay isnt a good idea unless its from a private owner not a bussiness. i recommend eibach lowering springs and 4 new struts, its a nice ride and puts ya down nise and low
