DC5Dan1212's SSM RSX-S

Post by DC5Dan1212 »

Hello everyone! I introduced myself awhile back but haven't really been an active member. Just wanted to say hello again and start off with a time line of my car. I will update this thread when the car undergoes changes, etc.

First day home, I paid for it in payments by getting a loan from my parents and now it's paid off fully by me! :wink2:

First thing was first, I blacked out the headlight housing to look similar to JDM ones! Followed a DIY guide online and was pretty straight forward.

CWest lip installed.

Injen CAI. I originally planned to buy DCRH and a cat-back exhaust and just do a bolt-on car but then my friends introduced me to boost! So DCRH and such was cancelled and that's why I only have a CAI to hold me up until turbo!!!
Image

18" RSL Rims. I got it by trading my stock rims straight trade. :wink2:

Tein suspension drop, no more 4x4! :rocklicker:

Lastly Seibon Evo Style CF Hood I got straight trade for my stock hood! :wink2:

I have Mugen sideskirts and Type-R spoiler as well sitting in the garage. I plan on installing them real soon after I get them painted along with my front bumper and front lip. Also have various parts for boost sitting around such as 3" exhaust. Hope to be boosted by next spring!

Springs are starting to settle so it looks lower now then in the picture. I don't want to go any lower no point IMO. Its like pinky gap front, a finger and a half gap back. As for the build, I'm going with a peakboost T3/T4 turbo kit, 750cc injectors, KPro, 3" KTeller Piping with Vibrant Muffler. Oh and of course all the other stuff like fuel pump, clutch, motor mounts etc.

I like the car, but not so much the hood. Needs sides and rear to go with the lip too, but its comin along nicely!

I do have to agree with both statements. It looks like your going to go plow some snow. Are you available during winter? lol

Im also not a huge fan of the Carbon hood but hey its your car and if you like it then thats all that matters. It should move pretty good when its boosted.
